2013 Golf Tournament Sets New High Record
For Golfers, Event Sponsors, Door Prize Donors
One-hundred and fifty golfers, eleven tournament sponsors, two hole-in-one sponsors, and 12 hole sponsors all contributed to an unbelievably successful charity golf tournament for facility professionals and the suppliers who provide their essential services on Friday, July 19th at Isleta Eagle Championship Golf Course. Icing the cake were the 57 door-prize donors, many providing multiple prizes for the golfers and event helpers.
Anna Sanchez, Central New Mexico Community College’s Senior Director of Development, spoke to the post-tournament crowd and thanked them for making the event which funds scholarships at CNM for future facility managers such a huge success. “You have changed lives,” she said. “Don’t underestimate the importance of your support for this event.”
The team winning the championship trophy was KONE Elevator and Escalator players, pulling off a repeat of last year’s victory. In the scramble format, players from Sprint PCS and Adelante claimed the top of board for their efforts.
The annual event is noted for being meticulously run, heavily attended, and championing the spirit of camaraderie and unity among the facility managers and their supporters. “You can tell a lot of care and work went into this,” commented first-timer Deborah Chavez from Williamson Restoration. “We will be back again next year!”
THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS
