Show Us at Isleta
at Hard Rock on July 20th

With fabulous hole-in-one prizes on the course and the door prize pledges accumulating,
excitement is building for the Second Annual Facility Manager Association
of New Mexico Scholarship Fundraiser Golf Tournament. The beautiful Isleta Eagle
Championship Golf Course at Hard Rock is the setting for the event this year with range balls
at 8 am and a 9 am tee time on Friday morning, July 20th, 2012

.
Although the registration cut off date has passed, THERE IS STILL TIME to put in a team of
players or sponsor a hole on the course. Visit the website at www.fmanm.com where sign up
is easy or just call Executive Director Carolee Griffin at 505-377-5309 for instant registration.
We can process your credit card payment!

This annual event is the primary fundraiser event for scholarships benefiting students pursuing
the mechanical trades at both the University of New Mexico and Central New Mexico
Community College. These students are the facility managers, engineers, and technical support
staff of the future.

Players can register for the “best-ball/scramble” format where FMANM will pair you in an
ABCD player format so all comers can enjoy the game, or form your own complete foursome
to compete in the “championship” format. Both tournaments will run simultaneously with a
shotgun start at 9 am. Enjoy fast play! Our goal is to dominate all three “9”s at the golf course
for this tournament.

PLEASE REGISTER TODAY! This will be the informational, networking event of the year
for facility manager and the suppliers who support them. Don’t miss it!

Facility Managers:

June 2 Executive Director Column

This month you will receive a phone call or an email from a member of the Facility Manager Association of New Mexico’s Golf Gang asking you to pledge your support for our 2nd Annual Scholarship Fundraising Golf Tournament, held again this year at the beautiful Isleta Eagle Championship Golf Course on Friday, July 20th, 2012, with an 9 am tee time.

Because we know times are tough and everyone has only so much “fun money” to allocate, MARK JULY 20TH on your calendar today. Ask anyone who has attended this event: it is one of the most smoothly run, door prize-laden tournaments you will ever play in. Last year, 127 people were not wrong! We hope to meet or exceed that number this year. It is the party of the summer for facility managers and their supporters.

Remember that this fundraiser is our primary means of funding for the scholarships which FMANM supports at the University of New Mexico and at the Central New Mexico Community College. CNM has been underscored in recent year because the tradesmen and women which it trains are the very people who are the facility managers of the future, the technicians we need to hire right now, and in general the people who will manage our infrastructure into the coming years.

With money tight, it is more important than EVER that these ambitious students, both young and old, receive the monetary help they need to finish their educations and enter our work force with the qualifications that we desperately need.

YOU can help. Please visit www.fmanm.com and register your intention to play a foursome, sponsor the event at the Gold, Silver, or Platinum level, purchase the Hole in One, buy a hole sponsorship, or just donate a nice door prize. Now is the time to help the people who help us!

Baseball Was a Blast--
See you Next Year!

All fifty tickets for the annual Albuquerque Isotopes baseball outing sold out in a matter of days. Although the ‘Topes lost to the Texas Roundrock 5 to 2, the spirit of the Facility Manager Association of New Mexico members and guests remained high! AND, we got cheese and green chile for our hamburgers, too.

We know how to have fun. See you next time!
